Join supporters of California Citizens Against Lawsuit Abuse's Southern California region for a luncheon commemorating Lawsuit Abuse Awareness Week. CALA will be presenting state Senator Tom Harman and Assemblyman Van Tran with California Champion Against Lawsuit Abuse Awards.

Senator Tom Harman is Vice Chair or the California Senate Judiciary Committee. He co-authored SB 1608, creating the California Disabilities Access Commission to address the predatory lawsuits that hamper businesses' ability to comply with the goal of increased access for persons with disabilities. Assemblyman Van Tran is the Vice Chair of the Assembly Judiciary Committee. He is a staunch advocate for bringing class action reform to California's civil justice system.
