An ADA lawsuit is forcing a renowned Sacramento burger joint featured nationally on the Food Network to close its doors and look for a new location - if possible. As reported in The Sacramento Bee, the owner of the Squeeze Inn burger joint announced that he can no longer afford the cost of bringing his historic establishment up to code. "Part of the allure of this place is the quaintness of this small building," said the owner. "It's part of history."
Is the business owner another victim of lawsuit abuse? Your guess is as good as mine, but according to a lawsuit abuse watchdog group, the attorney putting the squeeze on the burger joint has a history of "deceiving" the courts and questionable billing practices.
For the sake of burger aficionados everywhere, hopefully the lawsuit does not "squeeze" the burger joint out of business and a new location to do business is found soon.
