As reported by countless CALA supporters and the media, a professional litigant is targeting small business owners in the Sacramento, Solano, El Dorado and San Joaquin Counties. In today's Stockton Record, a columnist reports, "Reliance on serial litigants, not government inspectors, to enforce the ADA is a glaring flaw in the law. It created a cottage industry in ADA suits."  The Record reports that in 2005 this professional litigant made more than $450,000 through 114 cases!  Yes.. this glaring flaw in the law is making professional litigants rich -- and driving up the cost of staying in business and the price of goods and services.
